Boerewors

Description

Boerewors is a traditional style of sausage from South Africa. Real boerwors is characterised made from coarsely ground beef and combined with ground pork and seasoned with traditional South African spices like Coriander, Nutmeg, Cloves, All Spice and Black Pepper. The natural fat content of the meat keeps the wors moist during the cooking process. Wors should always be cooked to medium and left to rest like a steak to make sure that it doesn’t overcook or dry out.

Wolf’s Own’s boerewors is made from Granny Ross’ secret family recipe in small batches to ensure its quality.
